Nationalism?

The development of nationalism in the Philippine is the reaction to colonialism. The Filipino's love
for freedom motivated us to unite against the colonizer. SS

In this contemporary period, there has been a massive change in the society. This includes the
development of social media, where things can alter dramatically with just one click. So, by using the
social media platform to spread and bring light to everyone's mind, I will use this opportunity to
advocate for the significance of Philippine nationalism to every Filipino citizen. Many people now are
using different social media platforms as a medium of communication in gathering information so as
Filipino citizen I would like to take advantage the use of the different social media platforms such as
Tiktok, Facebook, and YouTube in reminding my fellow Filipino people on the things that make us
Filipino; one is that we should respect the Philippine flag and value our Filipino identity by knowing and
learning our National History where that Flag of ours is deeply connected to the freedom that we have
today.

In using media platforms I would like to encourage them to be a productive citizen and let us all
removed the crab mentality that we have meaning we Filipinos should support each other by making
ourselves productive and there was this saying "Serve the people, serve our nation".

Particularly now that an election is approaching, it is critical that every one of us understands who we
should vote with. They must look for candidates that have a sense of nationalism, so that we can live in
a peaceful and harmonious society.
