#1  LAGAAN  FILM  SCRIPT  

Film  opens  with  Sanjay  Dutt  dressed  up  like  a  high  profile  Don  sitting  on  a  royal  leather  chair.  Chatur  
is  standing  beside  his    chair  and  dressed  up  in  a  quirky  don  outfit.  

Sanjay  tells  to  Chatur,  “Chatur.  Kahan  gaya  re?  Ye  magajmari  dekh.  Tab  tak  apun  Rummy  khelta  
hain…”  

One  person  is  giving  a  horse  head  to  Chatur.  He  responds  with,  “Baaki  ka  kidhar  hain  re?”  

He  is  surrounded  by  many  people  who  have  come  in  his  court  to  offer  their  respects.  All  of  them  are  
standing  in  a  line  and  

they  are  giving  different  kinds  of  gifts  to  him.  Some  are  giving  a  bag  of  gold  coins,  some  are  giving  
suitcases  full  of  cash,  etc.  

Cut  to  him  taking  out  his  iPad  and  we  see  him  opening  a  normal  Rummy  app.  As  soon  as  he  is  about  
to  pay  the  convenience    fee,  we  see  Chatur  intervene.  

He  says,  “Baba…?!?!”  

Sanjay  is  taken  aback  and  says,  “Kya  hua  Chatur?”  

Chatur  says,  “Akha  sheher  aapko  lagaan  deta  hain  Baba,  aur  aap  Rummy  khelne  ke  liye  lagaan  
doge?”  

Sanjay  is  little  flabbergasted  and  says,  “Toh?”  

Chatur  just  a  swipes  his  hand  on  the  iPad  and  we  see  the  Rummy24  app  open  on  his  screen.

Film  opens  with  Sanjay  Dutt  and  Chatur  sitting  in  their  Darbar.    Baba  is  engrossed  with  Rummy24.  

Lot  of  local  goons  and  ruffians  are  coming  to  collect    one  gold  coin  from  SD’s  treasure  box.  

Just  then  there  is  a  local  ruffian  who  comes  to  the  scene  and  takes  more  than    one  golden  coin  from  
the  box  and  starts  stuffing  it  inside  his  shirt  and  sleeves.    

Just  then,  Baba  taps  his  shoulder.  The  ruffian  is  shit  scared  on  noticing  Baba.    Baba  says,  “Kyun  re  
half  biskut.  Free  cheezon  ka  bahot  shaukh  hai  tujhe?”    Cut  to  the  ruffian  who  shivers  and  says,  
“Nahi…  Nahi  baba…”  

Before  he  can  complete  Baba  hands  him  an  iPad  and  says,  “Toh  Rummy24  pe  rummy  khel  na.  Jahan  
hain  zero  processing    fees.  Toh  aaj  se  lagaan  lena  aur  dena  dono  bandh.  Samjha?”  

The  ruffian  nods  in  fear  and  runs  away  scared  keeping  the  biscuit  back.  Sanjay  signs  off  with,  
"Rummy24.  The  chatur  way  to  play"

#3  Flush    

Film  opens  in  a  hallway.    

We  see  Sanjay  Dutt  dressed  like  an  Italian  mobster.    

He  is  accompanied  by  another  guy  who  works  for  him.    

He  says  to  Sanjay,  "Sir,  the  decorations  for  the  party  are  ready."    

And  gestures  with  his  hand  to  follow  him.    

Sanjay  starts  walking  and  we  notice  that  there  are  many  guys  standing  in  a  line.  They  are  like  human  
props  for  the  party.    

One  is  holding  a  tray  with  champagne  glasses  all  arranged  in  a  pyramid  fashion.    
Second  guy  is  holding  a  vase  with  flowers  in  it.    

Third  guy  is  like  a  human  coat  hanger.    

He  walks  by  all  of  them  keeping  a  very  serious,  straight  face.    

As  soon  as  he  reaches  the  fourth  guy,  he  notices  there  are  5  people,  each  holding  a  heart  shaped  
balloon.    

He  notices  the  pattern  and  immediately  blurts,  "Wow,  that's  a  flush!"  

And  he  breaks  into  a  delighted  smile,  while  others  look  at  him  a  little  taken  aback  with  surprise.    

VO  kicks  in.

#4  Full  House    

Film  opens  in  a  grand  meeting  room.  

There  is  a  center  round  table  around  which  5-­‐6  people  are  sitting,  each  with  a  briefcase  in  front  of  
them.    

We  see  Sanjay  Dutt  walking  around  the  table,  and  as  he  passes  by  each  of  them,  they  open  the  
suitcase  to  show  him  what  they  have  brought  for  him.    

He  walks  by  each,  unimpressed  inspite  of  each  briefcase  containing  valuable  things.    

He  reaches  the  5th  guy  and  he  notices  the  guy  entering  the  code  to  open  the  briefcase  lock.    

He  notices  the  pattern,  which  is  5,5,5,3,3.  

At  the  moment,  he  suddenly  breaks  the  serious  character  and  blurts,  "Wow,  that's  a  full  house!"    

And  he  has  a  delighted  expression  on  his  face.    

  

And  everyone  looks  at  him  with  a  surprised  expression.
