Situation: If the preamble of the 1987 Philippine Constitution is recited in a style akin to
rap how will you feel about it? How will it affect your interpretation and reception of the
Constitution? Will still be regarded with respect and seriousness?
If the preamble of the 1987 Philippine Constitution is recited in a style of akin to rap, I
would feel like it was a joke. Each of every Filipinos has a different mindset. Rap is disrespectful to
others because they believe in culture and etiquette. There are possibilities that they will not regard
seriousness and respect. I believe that judgement will be The preamble of the Constitution provides
that we should establish a Government which shall "conserve and develop our patrimony." It should be
recited in the most formal way.

2. The Philippine Constitution falls under static or frozen register because It is a fixed
speech. It is the most formal style of communication wherein the audience is not allowed to raise
questions to the speaker. The example of frozen style is when the preamble of the 1987 is recited.
3. Slang and vulgarities are sometimes used in casual and informal because they are
considered inappropriate in formal contexts/among conversations. It is essential for
maintaining a conversation with natives and absolutely crucial for the mutual understanding of
two people talking.

4. Private or intimate conversations are expected among family members, close friends, couple,
and all of relation that show intimacy.

5. The President’s State of the Nation Address or SONA falls under the speech style Formal
because his speech will reflect his personality. He also uses it so that he can show his
commitment to his position and the people he leads will respect him.
