Aims and Distinctive Features

This module aims to develop a good understanding of:

● Develop an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques associated with

logistics management with both an operation management and marketing orientation

● Provide students of supply chain and logistics management a coherent perspective on

contemporary global logistics from raw materials through production to the end
customer.
● Enable students to understand the fundamental principles of Operations and Supply
Chain Management
● Provide opportunities to apply operations and supply chain concepts and techniques to
case organizations and situations
● Identify the technologies needed for the traceability of the materials in the
logistics chain of the company
