Crane maintenance procedures

1. Crane maintenance repair cycle:

 A period of one to three months


 Time of four to eight hours

2. Crane maintenance repair contents:

 The replacement of the wire rope worn reached the limits. For safety, casting lane, lane
rope front will be replaced once about every six months, to ensure good lubrication.
 The replacement of badly worn pins, screws.
 The replacement of the brake shoe reached wear limit (50% of original thickness).
 The replacement of damaged hook, shields, pulley; hook inspection once a year.
 The adjustment part of the installation, the deviation caused by the use and eliminate
hidden dangers.
 The replacement of the failed safety device.
 Repair or replacement the motor brushes, controller, contactor contact burns.
 Limit adjustment.
 The replacement the motor.
 Took over the inspection of gear wear; replacement the parts to be scrapped. Driving
casting lifting mechanism, coupling, dismantling once every 3 months to ensure good lubrication.
 Check the reel.
 Change gear (traveling crane) clean oil or replace the main drive gear.
 The lubrication points refueling to ensure good lubrication.
 Deal with the problem usually found in the inspection point.
 Replace the brake.

3. Maintenance standard:

A. Brakes:

 It should be replaced that pin wear more than 5% of the original diameter or exceeds
0.5mm oval.
 When lifting mechanism uses double brakes, it shall ensure that each brake safety factor
of 1.25 times.
 Adjust the side wheel and brake shoe gap to be equal.
 When the brake is released, the tilt, imbalance brake shoe and brake wheel brake shall
not exceed the width of 1/1000.
 The brake wheel center and the center brake shoe relative error does not allow more
than 3mm.

B. Brake drum:

 Outer roughness should not be less than 3.2.


 Grind groove surface area of 60%, depth 3mm.
 Brake wheel surface temperature does not exceed 200 ℃.
 After assembled brake wheel, face run out shall not exceed the standard.

C. Wire rope:

 Rope surface wear reaches 40%, casting, blast furnace traffic by 20%, although not
broken, it should be scrapped.
 Surface wear and broken wires should have reduced requirement.
 Whole rope strand breaks should be scrapped.
 Wire rope on the drum plate should be tightened all; when the hook to the lowest
position, leaving a minimum of 2 to 3 turns on the reel.
 Change new wire rope wire rope must confirm the specifications and mechanical
properties to meet the original design requirements.

4. Crane maintenance on reducer:

 Deceleration oil surface should be maintained between the shaft needle two engraved
lines.
 Feet bolts and joints can not have any screw loose.
 No any obvious leakage.
 When the cap is screwed tight, gearbox combination surface gap is not greater than
0.03mm.
 Tooth wear of 4,5 crane hoisting mechanism gear up to 15% of the thickness, to hoist up

5. Crane maintenance on pulley

 Pulley sheaves wear wall thickness reached 10%, should be scrapped.


 Pulley rope diameter bottom wear more than 25% should be scrapped.
 Cracked or damaged rim portion should be scrapped.
 If the relative rotation between pulley shaft hole and the bearing outer ring, should be
scrapped
 Pulley should be flexible rotation, without jamming.

6, Crane maintenance on the teeth took over

 Gear coupling grease once every three months.


 Operating agencies gear up to 20% over the amount of wear, lifting mechanism up to
10%.

7, Crane maintenance on hook:


 Hook actual opening is greater than the nominal opening 15% should be scrapped.
 Hooks dangerous section wear reaches a height of 10%, put steel traffic up to 5% should
be scrapped.
 Hooks found permanent deformation should be scrapped or to be replaced.
 Inspection once a year, if found serious cracks, should be scrapped.
