Formed out of the ashes of IRON DOGS in late 2015 by front man Jo

"Steel" Capitalicide, ICE WAR released a string of cassettes and 7-inch single
releases in the space of a few months. Working with many different labels
provided great distribution worldwide.

In 2017 a self-titled first album “Ice War” was released by Shadow

Kingdom Records. All the while releasing more singles, ICE WAR finally
released a 2nd full length album titled “Manifest Destiny” in late 2018 on
Dying Victims Productions. While continuing to release more singles on
cassette and 7”EP, a 3rd album in form of a tribute to 80's Canadian Metal
bands “Canadian Classics” was released on Suicide by Cop Tapes.

In 2020, ICE WAR signed to Fighter Records and the 4th album
“Defender, Destroyer” saw the light in July of that same year, but Jo never
stops writing music and a new album was recorded in summer 2020,
entitled “Sacred Land”, which will see the light in May 2021, this time with
a more epic and doomy approach.
