Grace: Uh, oh, a lot of things. Go to bars. Uhm, read. Go hiking.

Nadine: Hmm, work out, shop.
Interviewer: Work out and shop. How about you?
Janet: I like to take drives in my new car, I like to shop, I like to visit with friends.

Liz: For fun? I like to take pictures. I like to listen to music. Uh, what else do I do for
fun? I like to meet with my friends.

Nelson: 50.

Pauline: Well, in the summertime, I like horseback riding. I'm a city girl, but I love the

meat for the table at our farm.

Anna: In Connecticut.
Interviewer: That's beautiful.

Gayle: Uh, we've been there, 12, 13 years.
Interviewer: Great. What are you going to do tonight?
Gayle: I HOPE go to see a play on Broadway.
Interviewer: Uh-huh. And what are you going to do on your next holiday?
Gayle: Next holi…? Probably come back to New York. We come here frequently.
Interviewer: Great. So what do you like to do for fun?
Gayle: We like to come here. We love to go to plays. That's what we like to do.

Interviewer: Hey Scott! And what do you guys do?
Mark: I'm a paralegal, with a law firm.
Scott: I'm a film director.
Interviewer: A film director? What films have you directed? That's great.
Scott: Well, I make, uh, comedies. Right now I'm directing a film called "Helium Head"
with Dick Cavett in it.
Interviewer: Good for you!
Scott: Thank you.
Interviewer: And what are you doing out on the street today?
Scott: Uhm, looking for starlets who want to be in my next film. No, uh, we're just
meeting for lunch.
Interviewer: Uh-huh, and uh, are you from New York?
Scott: I am from New York.
Interviewer: and you?
Mark: I'm from Jersey. New Jersey.
Interviewer: Uh-huh, and what do you guys like to do for fun in the city?
Scott: Well, I like to learn foreign languages.
Interviewer: Very good answer.
Mark: I like to meet foreign women.
