Tell me about you

I am 21 years old and my name is Leonardo Ruiz, I like everything related to art such as
music, games, drawing and theater. I am a quiet person who likes to be at home and I
like dogs very much.

What is your inspiration for going to the Work and Travel program?

My inspiration is to learn the language well and to have a new vision.

Why do you want to go on Work and Travel program?

To have new experiences, to know more places and to be more sociable.

What do you want Americans to learn about your culture?

That we are hardworking, loving but above all respectful.

What are some of your strengths?

I can adapt quickly, I know how to obey and I know how to treat people with respect.

Tell us about your weakness and how are you working on improving them?

Getting up on time, I am a heavy sleeper. But I am trying to sleep earlier to control the
problem.

What are your future career goals?

Obtain a master's degree in illustration or 3D modeling and work independently.

What makes you a good employee – why should you be hired?

That I can follow orders, I am responsible, and I like to be friendly.

What do you think will be the most challenging or hardest part about living and
working in the United States?

The hardest thing would be missing my family and friends and facing everything alone.

If I were to travel to your home country, what are the top 3 things I need to see or do?

Visiting my grandmother, eating national food and going out with my friends.

How would your friends and family describe your personality?

A quiet, responsible and friendly guy.

What is your favorite American TV show or movie, and why?

Smallville, because it tells the story of one of my favorite Superheroes, Superman.

How do you prepare your favorite meal from your home country?

I like cooking very much, I would prepare chicken soup with lots of spices.

I don't like any sport
