■ Thank you very much for purchasing our machine.

The purpose of this manual is to provide you with the basic information needed to install, start-up and
troubleshoot DC-series. ‘WARNING’ and ‘CAUTION’ are two precaution signs to encourage you special
care to keep you from injuries and damages. Please read this operation manual carefully and operate
your machine accordingly. Thank you.

What’
What’ss Timing?
Timing?
Timing is a time lag from detecting rejects by CCD
sensor to shooting them by ejectors.
*’Timing is one of the most important values for
sorting.’
If the timing is improper, you cannot reject bad
materials even if you set strong sensitivity.

Criteria for judging the materials good or

bad.
There are two criteria for camera-sensor to
recognize a bad grain and send a reject-signal to
blow it. One is Area / Size. And the other is
Sensitivity.
First, a camera recognizes the grains as bad when
the unacceptable area is beyond the limit set by
Area / Size.
After judging the grain bad enough in area, a
camera judges it by darkness and lightness (i.e.
sensitivity) as second step.

The grain, which gets through these two processes,

is blown by ejector.
*When the unacceptable grain is darker (lighter)
than raw material, use dark (light) sensitivity.
*If you use only one sensitivity, we strongly
recommend you to set the 2nd sensitivity off.

How to set the proper timing

Select [1ST SORT] or [2ND SORT].
Next, adjust the value of timing around the original
value checking the contamination rate of bad grains
in accepts side (strong sensitivity makes it easier to
set the right timing).
When forwarding, we set the basic timing value for
the machine.
Timing value is a little subject to the inlet capacity.
So after you fix the capacity, you need to do the subtle
adjustment of timing.

28
Feed Control
● In this menu, you control each feeder’s vibration strength.
Feed control’s setting range is 0(Weak) to 100(Strong).

[Feed Control]
To activate the feeder, two switches must be on. One
*Attention*
is feeder switch in Feeder Control menu. And the
Feed value is the strength of feeder’s vibration.
other is Feeder On/Off switch located in the bottom.
These numbers have nothing to do with actual
inlet capacity.
Even if you set the feed value 100, capacity does

Select the value box of feeder you plan to adjust.
And set the value by [UP]/[DOWN] key.

*Attention*

Less or much feeding speed leads to poor sorting
performance.

Size / Area
● In this section, you learn ‘Size / Area’.
