I’m going to tell you something more about my favourite song Aces high by Iron Maiden.
Iron Maiden is a metal band founded in 1975 by Steve Harris in London.

Steve Harris is the bassist, songwriter, backing vocals and keyboard. Harris is often
considered among the best and most influential heavy metal bassists. He is most known for
his "galloping" bass lines. You can recognize this in the trooper. He also plays without a pick

Bruce Dickinson is the lead vocal of Iron Maiden. He wasn’t with Iron Maiden from the
beginning. But he is a great singer. He also writes songs like Fear of the Dark.

Dave Murray is one of the lead guitarist and also a songwriter. He is know for his very nice
solos

Adrian Smith is also a lead guitarist and again a songwriter. Sometimes he also does backing
vocals. Like in Wasted Years.

Nicko McBrain is the man behind the drums. His nickname is octopus because he as a strange
face and he can drum fast on his very big drum kit.

Janeck Gers is a guitarist. Gers is left-handed although he plays guitar right-handed; as seen at
the "Rock In Rio" DVD signing autographs.

Iron maiden had 100 million CD’s sold already but they have soundtrack on a lot of
videogames Carmageddon 2, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, SSX
on Tour and Madden NFL 10. They also have a videogame of their own called Ed Hunter.

Their latest tour Somewhere back in time. In that travelled around the world in a boeing 747
customized to Iron Maiden And Bruce Dickinson can fly with the plane because he is a pilot.

Aces high is written by Steve Harris. The version I brought with me was live recorded at
Mumbai Palace grounds India February 1-2008
The song tells the story of a British RAF pilot fighting against the German Luftwaffe during
the Battle of Britain (1940), the first battle to be completely fought in the skies of the UK. The
song topped at number 20 on the UK Singles Chart. Aces High is one of Iron Maiden's most
popular songs, and has been covered numerous times, by bands including Arch
Enemy and Children Of Bodom.
