PROJECT BACKGROUND/ DESCRIPTION

• Reconstruction/Widening of Bridge Approaches (4 lanes), 280 mm thk. PCCP

• Replacement of Indangan Bridge (2 into 4 lanes), 21 lm PSCG on RC Piles
• Replacement of Malagamot Bridge (2 into 4 lanes), 25 lm PSCG on RC Piles
• Channel excavation of existing creek with gabion protection
• Construction of lined canal and other minor drainage structures
• Construction of grouted riprap lined canal outfall with box culvert
• Construction of curb, gutter and sidewalk
• Construction of steel sheet pile slope protection
• Provision of Reflectorized thermoplastic pavement markings
• Installation/Removal/Reinstallation of Metal Guardrails
• Installation of Warning and Chevron Signs

PROJECT IMPACT
• The project will alleviate the volume of traffic along Daang Maharlika Road, especially in Malagaot to
Panacan area.
• This project will also enhance the flow of people, goods and delivery of basic social services thereby
increasing the socio-economic activities in the area and increase production and trade volume of agri-marine
products not only within Davao City but also with the province of Davao del Norte and Davao del Sur.
• This project shall reduce travel time contributing to substantial savings for motorists and provide
convenience to the traveling public.
