Purpose of Report
This report should be considered with other information you receive from the school such as
your child’s homework and descriptions of the content taught in Kindergarten Program. This is a
tool to communicate a student’s progress towards achieving grade level standards. Students
receive marks that describe proficiency levels for specific standard.

 
Competent (C)- Student demonstrates understanding and meets grade level expectations.
Progressing Well(P)- Student demonstrates progress toward meeting grade level expectations.
Working on It (W)-Student does not demonstrate grade level expectation.

Copies or writes words to convey messages
Participates in group dictated stories
Builds simple words and sentences

5. Social and Emotional

Shows confidence in self and demonstrates a sense of self-worth
