Step by step procedure to start using new GLS 3.0 version

Nemo Global License Server 3.0 introduces the feature, when Java add-on does not need to be pre-installed in
the browser of end user’s computer.

The following step by step guide shows the phases how to take GLS 3.0 release into use on end user’s computer.
NOTE: GLS 3.0 release removes the Java dependency on different browsers, thus all browser are again
compatible with GLS 3.0 after the following steps are completed by end user.

1. Login to GLS server using your own credentials

2. Go to “Download” page and download “User installation package for GLS.zip” file to your computer
3. Unzip it (extracted file name is “haspdinst.exe”)
4. Open Command Prompt window on your computer and select “Run as administrator”
5. On Command Prompt view go to the folder, where “haspdinst.exe” is unzipped
6. Nemo Analyze user needs to stop Analyze ODBC Windows service in “Services” management tool in
Windows
7. Type “haspdinst.exe -purge” in command prompt line (this command uninstalls the previous version)
8. Type “haspdinst.exe -i” in command prompt line (See screen shot below)

NOTE: Running haspdinst.exe might take several minutes!

9. Open a web browser on your computer and type the following URL:
“http://localhost:1947/_int_/config_network.html”.

The screen below should be opened.

10. Add the following GLS address to EMS URL field and press “Submit”.

11. Restart your computer

12. Browse and login back to your GLS and start detaching the licenses normally as before

NOTE: After installation steps below Analyze user must restart Analyze ODBC Windows service in “Services”
management tool in Windows.
