Among the Philippine Current Issue that we have discussed in the class, list

down atleast three (3) issue that is necessary to resolve and discuss briefly “why”.

1. One of the most important concerns confronting today's Filipino youth is early
pregnancy. Among ASEAN member states, the Philippines has one of the
highest rates of teenage pregnancy. Pregnancies in teenagers pose
additional health hazards to both the mother and the fetus. Teens frequently
do not receive prenatal care early enough, which might lead to complications
later on. They are at a higher risk for high blood pressure caused by
pregnancy and its complications. Premature birth and low birth weight are two
risks for the newborn. In addition, if preventing it or resolving this kind of issue
would lessen the chance of abortion and could lessen the population or even
poverty in the Philippines.
2. The hesitation towards vaccination with the covid-19 is one of the issues in
the Philippines. A significant number of people from all over the world
including the Philippines have refused to be vaccinated. This is necessary to
resolve since this would lessen the mortality rates among the individuals in
the nation, it will protect them from the current virus that is spreading and also
prevent them from being dead. In addition, it is an essential aspect of the
crisis recovery process in the Philippines in order to develop a future resilient
to the pandemic.
3. As the COVID 19 virus has spread throughout our country, online education
has become the preferred method of instruction. Growing rampant on social
media and news Outlets, parents were seen as responsible for answering
their children’s modules. DepEd have made their statement regarding this
concern for parents to not answer the worksheets and modules on behalf of
their children. Regarding online classes, parents with low incomes were faced
with more expenses. The volume of content, online testing, and most of it
being done without appropriate directions are just a few of the issues that
young people encounter in this new learning environment.
