“WHAT A FOX”

Once upon a time, there lived a monkey. His name is Odi. Odi was humble
and generous. He always helped animals or even a human who got some trouble.
Odi used to help a dog, tiger, camel, and beggar. A poor beggar who was very
hungry.
One day, Odi met a man who seems pale and tired. So Odi asked him
mindfully.
“hey, man. Are you okay?” Asked Odi.
“cough! cough! who are you? How can such a monkey talk to me like a
human?” Said the Man timidly.
“are you coming from other country? I’m well-known enough here. Well,
you look so pale. Let me help you.”
When the Man wanted to talk , Odi asked the Man to visited his house.
“heuy, how about continue our conversations with a cup of hot chocolate?
My house is not far from here.
“oh, where is your house, Monkey? I’m still not believing that I talked to
animal, actually. And, and I’m afraid of it. Cough!”
“ho ho ho.. there is no need to be afraid, man. I am just an ordinary monkey
who want to be your friend. And one thing, I don’t like to be called ‘monkey’. Call
me Odi.” Said Odi while smiling.
“I’m sorry, Odi. Call me Ido then.” Said the Man shortly.
Ido and Odi went to Odi’s house. They told about this and that, laughed in
every single step till their lower jaw locked up. After arrived at Odi’s house, they
had a interesting chitchat.
“tell me about yourself. Well, where do you come from? Why do you visit
my village?”
“I’m from Nirlanka. Beneath it all, I am a prince.”
“oh my god, you are a prince! How can I don’t realize it!” Said Odi while
shocked.
“yeah. And I’m here want to search for my umbrella. Cough! It was stolen
by a robber. The villagers said that the robber’s running to this village.” Said Ido
sadly.
“oh, I will help you!”
“no, Odi. No. I just make a fuse of you and now you have to help me again?
No.”
“I don’t mind to help you, Prince. Moreover you are my friend. I feel
honored if you allowed me to help you.”
“if you don’t mind, it’s okay. Thank you, buddy. Ha ha ha”
In the middle of conversations, Ido saw an umbrella at the corner of Odi’s
house. An beautiful umbrella with a lace arounded its edges.
“dear me! That’s my umbrella. For many hours, I’m not unsuspecting that
you’re the robber. Oh, I know. You helped me in order to not detected as the
robber by me, right? What a fox!” Said Ido angrily.
“no, Ido! That’s false. That umbrella was given to me a long time ago when
I was a little kid. It’s from my grandma. By the way, I’m not a fox, I’m monkey.”
Said Odi.
“liar! Give it back to me, now! Cough!” Yelled Ido to Odi.
“you could have my umbrella but, please, still be my friend.” Said Odi in
cry.
“make it clear. First, that’s not your umbrella but mine! And the second is I
don’t want to make a friend with such a liar like you!” Said Ido while took the
umbrella and went out of Odi’s house. Odi was very sad and confused.
About a month later, Odi found out that Ido’s picture on the first page of
newspaper inscribed with ‘BE CAREFULL! A TRICKY ROBBER IS AROUND
HERE’.
Odi stood still and laughed then while said, “what a fox!”
