2. The College of Maasin is a private learning Institution owned and operated by the United
Church Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) , one of the protestant churches in our country.

3. The Chaplaincy Program of the College of Maasin is the implementing arm in-charge of the
spiritual, moral and attitudinal aspect of the students’ development. It is the aim of the school to
produce a Christian graduates that are responsive to the needs and aspirations of the people while
they are in their respective line of works after graduation.

4. The word Bible derived from the Greek word “ta biblia ” which means books. That’s why
there are many books in the Bible.

5. During the Spanish colonialization, the Bible was a Close Book to Filipinos for many
centuries.

1. The Vision and Mission of the College of Maasin.

Answer: Vision

The College of Maasin with the dynamic integration, research and extension, commits it self in
seeking a life of faith learning and action to develop people into becoming intellectually
complement and honest, morally and ethically sensitive creativity aware and responsive to the
needs and aspirations of the people for the realization of a just, free and responsible social order.

Mission

The College of Maasin is a Dynamic learning institution commits its life, resources and ministry
towards the development of persons, nurtured by faith in God through the liberating process of
holistic and excellent learning and creative for social renewal.

2. The Chaplaincy Program of the College of Maasin.

Answer:

The Chaplaincy Program of the College of Maasin is the implementing arm in-charge of the

3. The Old Testament subject and its importance to the students.

Answer: The Old testament represent and study about truths about God and humanity to
students for knowing the lord God host the creator having true understanding of the bible.
