Notes:
Only the administrator of the EF-45 can change the voices file of EF-45.
This method of changing voice files is interim. CMITech will send revised
method through SDK when available.
Please contact CMITech for assistance in creating voice files.

Introduction

This guide is for user can change the voices of EF-45 by themselves with
administrator login with password.

Log In using WinSCP

1) Please install the WinSCP ftp file transfer application from Internet URL:
https://winscp.net/ .

2) Make sure that EF-45 is connected to your PC in Ethernet.

3) Check the IP address of EF-45.

4) Run WinSCP application.

5) Enter IP address and user login credentials: User name: root; Password:
cmi1003

6) Click the Login tab.

Find the voice file directory

1) Find the directory of voice file which is located in EF-45 as default

/usr/local/share/CMITECH/sound/us

2) All voice files used in the EF-45 (in .wav format) are listed. Note that not all
voice file are necessarily used.

3) Make sure that current language setting in EF-45 is set to English. ( Setting
> Display > Language > English )

4) Replace all the voice file in the directory

/usr/local/share/CMITECH/sound/us with new recorded files as same
name and wave file format.
