GUIDELINES—
I. Keeping into consideration the practical aspects of the subject and to make students familiarise
with the actual working of courts, the students will have to write an assignment on the topic
CONSTITUTION AND HIERARCY OF CIVIL COURTS IN THE RESPECTIVE AREA’S i.e.
be it
A. a District
B. a sub division
.
Note: 1. International students will be working on the hierarchy of civil courts of their respective
places as discussed in class.
2. In case is student is from sub-division then, they have to find out about the district and no. of
courts and judicial officers working therein.
3. In case a student is from district division then they have to mention about the sub-division if
any falling in the jurisdiction of that division.
5. The student has to also refer to the courts act(if any) their respective states before so as to
give correct classification and jurisdiction of civil courts in their jurisdiction. Brief description of
the courts act should also be given.
4. The link from the information can be crossed checked has to be mentioned by the student in
his assignment.
5. At the top of assignment student has to mention his place of residence.

II. The work has to be authenticated one and students have to provide accurate information,
III. The work should be original one and cut copy paste/cheating from one and other is to be
avoided
IV. Soft copies only will be accepted at ums only.
V. No submission through email or LPU LIVE will be accepted.
VI. Work has to typed properly and in case any student wants to submit hand-written assignment
prior approval for the same has to be ensured timely from concerned teacher, otherwise no
excuse will be accepted.
VII. In case more than one student has same district or sub- division, though the hierarch concept
will remain same but the presentation style needs to be its own avoiding copied work.
More clarification will be provided in the class if required by the students.
