So there are simple ways on how we can manage to reduce the disaster

risk.
1. First is to know the disasters that could hit where you live. And if you are
not familiar to your place you can get information to the Red Cross or your
local management office. At least you would know what preparation you
would do.
2. Next is to plan an escape route in case of disaster. Since we can't exactly
predict disasters talaga, so dapat disaster ready den yung mismong bahay
or place na tinitirhan mo.
That is why there should be two
exits from every room.
3. Next is we need also to put an evacuation route incase we need to leave
the area.
pa lang we have a set place on our mind kung saan alam natin na safe yon
puntahan pag nagkaroon ng ganoong klaseng disaster.
4. Next, put together a disaster supply kit. This must include first aid supplies,
water and non perishable food. Also the family documents, insurance
papers and wills. It should be kept in the easy-to-access areas that can grab
quickly. And dapat before pa lang nakaready na yon, kase unpredictable
nga yung mga mangyayari. That is why it is advisable talaga na ngayon
5. Next, make sure that everyone in your family is aware about the escape, the
evacuation routes and the location of the disaster supply kits. So dapat
tanungin or kontakin incase na wala ka on that day. Hindi lang ikaw dapat
ang well prepared, lahat dapat kayo na nasa bahay.
6. And lastly, you must practice your plans and check supplies on a routine
basis. Not just well-prepared but also we must be well-trained.
yung gagawin mo.
mabalewala yung preparation mo. That's all for reducing disaster risks
The compression principles. In doing chest compressions, its objective is to
effectively squeeze the heart inside the victims chest causing the blood to flow.
That is why it is commonly the preferred method in first aid especially when
normal and circulation stops.

There are techniques in doing accurate compressions .

1. First is you must position your body correctly by kneeling beside the victim's
upperchest aligning the center of your body to the nipple or in the
middlepart of the sternum, in short the breast bone. Doing a right position
is vital in giving chest compressions. And it will be less tiring for you as well.
The objective is to compress the center of the chest regardless of the
victim.
2. Next, you will locate the sternum notch using the index finger and middle
finger. And when you already located it you will replace the two fingers by
your hand. And put the other hand on the top then interlock its fingers to
secure the position. And in chest compressions, your elbows and arms
must keep as straight as possible.

In making compressions, there will be situations that your compression is

ineffective. And to make it effective, these are the things that you can consider.
Para makapag refill yung heart chamber nung victim and mag increase yung
venous return or the blood flowback. Because leaning to the chest prevents
the heart from filling with blood which leads to the ineffectiveness of
compression.
This includes the time to ventilate the victim. However its advise to every
first aider to make the 5 cycles into 2 minutes
Observation based on experience reveals that almost all, even the well-
trained first aiders compresses the heart too fast.
Because if your elbows are bended you won't exert the force that is needed
in effective compression.
This will boost your energy and confidence in doing your job.
Recovery position is a first aid training that you pose a person to keep their
airway open and prevent vomit or other fluid from choking them when they are
unconscious. If the person is still breathing with a strong heartbeat, use the
recovery position instead if CPR. .

Stay with person. If you must leave them alon at any point,or if they are
unconscious, put them in this position to keep the airway clear and prevent
choking.
