1. To carry out ‘Hydrological Analysis’ of Chandrabhaga River
Catchment for estimating ‘Flood Discharge’ of different ‘return
period’.
Carrying out Steady Flow analysis of River near the site.
. Carrying out Hydraulic modelling of River stretch near the site using
“USACE HEC-RAS’ Analysis Software.
4. Estimating depths at the proposed site.

Location of Site:
The proposed project site is one of the important rivers of India located in
Pandharpur in Solapur, Maharashtra, Rises from Chikhaldara hills and flows
southeast for 861km through Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana
statesbefore entering the Krishna river. It is one of the important rivers in
Amravati district of Maharashtra. Large number of devotees from all over

Introduction to Google Earth Pro:
Google earth is interactive map that allows users to see all over the world. In
addition to earth navigation, Google Earth provides a series of other tools
through the desktop application. An image formed by Google Earth of ground is
taken through the millions of satellites. Ground profile and river profile of any
place can be found out through the Google Earth Pro software.
L Section of Chandrabhaga River:
Longitudinal section is a section taken through lengthwise dimensions of
river.
In the proposed project we have placed upper and reach and lower end
reach, in between which we have given the path as shown in figure below,
