CONCLUSION

From the description of the two books, we can conclude that in the first book written by Assoc.
Prof. Ekrem Solak dominant contains good methods for a teacher or instructor to teach
listening skills to students. In this first book, there are some tips that a teacher needs to know in
teaching listening skills, so that students can receive the material from the teacher well. In
addition, the author also explains how to teach students to students effectively, so students
and teachers must have skills in using technology. By using technology, students and teachers
can use the technology to access material and increase listening skills. For example, with the
internet we can access learning about listening such as video or audio that can improve
listening skills well. So the first book is identical to the method of a teacher in teaching listening
skills. Then in the second book written by Michael Rost, we can conclude that the author
explains that in teaching the teacher must know several criteria in teaching listening to
students. In this book, the author confronts teachers so that in listening learning they often
make assignments to students in audio, video, text, or other interactive media. So that students
can access the learning by viewing the text and listening to the audio. With this, students have
listening skills.

So the contents of the first and second book chapters are interrelated. In this book, there are
some important things that teachers may not know about teaching and instilling listening skills
in students. Therefore, these two books are highly recommended and useful for teachers so
that after reading these two books, teachers will broaden their horizons in teaching listening
skills to students.
