An inspired approach to education

In relation with emerging competitive environment around the world, effective education
system plays a crucial role in a country’s overall growth and sustainability. In past few
decades, India has faced a substantial rate of unemployment, and education system was
accountable for this fact both directly as well as indirectly. One of the major causes of poor
education system is lack of practical implementation of studies related to literally any subject
matter. Consequently, Indian government has framed fresh policies time-to-time to improve
the overall learning approaches inside the country.
Accordingly, our country has adopted various strategies that were inspired by nations having
best education system around the globe, such as, the United States of America, Canada and
United Kingdom etc. The need for digital learning was felt this year throughout the world and
hence teachers also need to be trained for creating higher performance standards and redefine
the learning process. The need for integration of technology with a part of advanced
proficiency, logical temper for all-encompassing learning experience of students. Especially
the latest National Education Policy [NEP 2020], is framed while keeping Activity Based
Learning as a primary goal. With reference to Activity Based Learning, education system in
European nations for instance, Switzerland, Germany and France demonstrates a range of
pedagogical approaches to teaching, with a core premise including the requirement that
learning should be based on doing some hands-on experiments and activities. Indian
government also foresee a set of standards which endows each individual student with the
self-confidence that derives from performance, the appreciation of arts as fundamental to the
human experience and a creative approach they all do.
As a matter of fact, India has improved a lot in terms of post graduate studies, as that
particular level of study now consists of real-life implementation of theoretical data
irrespective of the nature of subject matters. Furthermore, latest NEP 2020 is more specific
towards junior and higher secondary education. The most highlighted policies were addition
of adult education inside the school premises along with the increased focus on vocational
studies up-to 8th grade. Apart from that, Union cabinet assured fresh provisions for students
with disabilities, expanded scholarship portal for SC, ST AND OBC categories, inclined level
of minimum qualification required for teaching, dedicated NCC wings in secondary and
higher secondary schools. However, these fresh variations were quoted as long term plans of
government admitting an increased share of GDP investing towards the education system,
that is almost 7% of GDP which previously was nearly 1.7%.
