Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
 describe what conserving of natural resources is
 share some ideas on how to conserve natural resources
 create a table showing some good habits that one can do for the environment

discussion and activity proper

A. Preparation Day before the lesson

B. Motivation To start our new lesson, I’ll be showing you a video of
the beauty and splendor of the Philippines.

C. Lesson Proper 1. The class will watch a video entitled “Conserving


Philippine Water Resources”.

2. The students will answer the following guide
questions.
a. What problem does the country is facing right
now according to the video?
b. Why is water important to us human beings?
c. What are the things the people do in order to
help in conserving our water resources?

3. The teacher will discuss the importance of conserving


natural resources.

D. Activity 1. The students will be asked to group themselves into


five.
2. The students will share their ideas, through
messenger or online platform, on what they can do to
conserve the natural resources.
3. Based on their collaboration, the students will list
down five ways to conserve natural resources.
4. They will be given 10 minutes to do the activity.
5. After 10 minutes, each group will be given two
minutes to share their work.
6. I have a class gratitude table on our google
classroom. Simply write some words of gratitude to any
of your co-members who helped you with this activity.
E. Generalization How will you conserve natural resources in our
environment?
F. Evaluation Answer the exit exam:
List down at least five ways on how to conserve our
natural resources.

Assignment

1. Answer the Activity Check up on your HGP modules.

2. Have a recycled pot. It can be a big can, old pots or bucket that is of no used at
home. Punch at least three holes at the bottom of the can/old pot/bucket, then put
some garden soil and plant a fruit bearing three. Take care of the plant and let it grow
by watering them every day. This way, you helped in conserving our natural
resources.
