A. INTRODUCTION
As an educational institution and a Catholic at that, Mater Dei College has
the luxury of storing and developing all learning skills needed by her clients
and even by the teachers. However, she is implied to do more than imparting
knowledge, and that is call to be in mission.

B. LESSON CONTENT
 A BRIEF REVIEW OF MDC’S VISION, MISSION AND GOALS
VISION STATEMENT
Mater Dei College is a community of dedicated educators and
community-oriented students who believe in the search for truth that leads to
WISDOM; unselfish living through SERVICE as an expression of CHARITY
and the pursuit of PRAYER-LIFE through living the Gospel, as exemplified by
Mary of God in whose honor the college identifies herself.

Mater Dei College commits herself to provide a holistic Catholic
education to deserving youth with a preferential option for the economically-
disadvantaged of Northern Bohol to enable them to become responsible
citizens and servant leaders in nation building.

To summarize, “Christian philosophy teaches us that the highest faculties of

human person are his/her intellect and will. These faculties are to be
exemplified not only by the graduates themselves, but by every MDCian. They
are to be persons steeped in Wisdom, searching for the truth through a sound
decision making and through difficult scholarly studies. They are to be imbued
too in Charity as well, borne of unselfish living by giving or extending through
unselfish service. Thus, wisdom and charity can only be acquired by students
specially by putting them into practice. And that it can also be expressed in the
corporate value which is the pursuit of a Prayer-life through living the Gospel.
