ipconfig / ifconfig
The ipconfig command is used on Windows, while the ifconfig command
is used on Linux, Mac OS X, and other Unix-like operating systems.
These commands allow you to configure your network interfaces and view
information about them.
For example, you can use the ipconfig /all command on Windows to view
all your configured network interfaces, their IP addresses, DNS servers,
and other information.
arp
arp -a: This command is used to display the ARP table for a particular IP
address. It also shows all the entries of the ARP cache or table.
arp -g: This command works the same as the arp -a command.
arp -d: This command is used when you want to delete an entry from the ARP
table for a particular interface. To delete an entry, write arp -d command
along with the IP address in a command prompt you want to delete.
path
Sets or displays directories that will be searched for programs not in the
current directory.
