3. WHat would you be doing if you were at my
age right now?
If I were in your position as a student, I would study hard
and make sure to finish studies and pursue further studies.
I would probably take Juris Doctor degree after my
Bachelor's degree. But as a student, I would be
concentrating on my studies.
1. What's the best career decision
you've ever made?
The best career decision I have ever made
was when I accepted our then Governor's
offer to do government projects. And I did
this at the age of 60, the age when people
usually retire from work.
2. What's the worst career decision
you have ever made?
I don't remember anything doing the worst as
far as my career is concerned. I have felt all
my life that God is always guiding me in all
my decisions.

Conclusion:

Kit Ubiadas exhibits diligence and possesses admirable work ethics. He works to the best of his abilities to
ensure that he has no regrets, and is humble in his achievements as he displays absolute faith in God’s
guidance as he makes decisions in life. He is an inspiration to the generations after him for he highlights
the importance of studying as a way to reach greater heights. Aside from being exceptionally dedicated
to his work, he is also organized and manages his time well. Kit Ubiadas emphasizes the importance of
hard work and perseverance and admits that it is his greatest strength. He also shows benevolence as he
is always willing to help others in need to the best of his abilities.

Early Life

Maria Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga is a Filipina singer and actress, best known for her roles in musical theatre, for
supplying the singing voices of two Disney Princesses (Jasmine and Mulan), and as a recording artist and television
performer.
At age 18, she originated the lead role of Kim in the musical Miss Saigon, first in the West End and then on
Broadway, winning the Olivier and Theatre World Awards, and becoming the first Asian woman to win a Tony
Award. Salonga is the first Filipino artist to sign with an international record label. Salonga was the first actress of
Asian descent to play the roles of Éponine and Fantine in the musical Les Misérables on Broadway

discouragements she received and being
committed
After playing as Kim in Miss Saigon, Lea
applied for other roles but she was told
“they’ll never see you because you’re
Asian”. Nevertheless, she still strived and
continued down her chosen career path and
was eventually called to play the role of
Eponine in Les Miserables (3:40), whose
musical score she had already memorized
at the time (4:10).

Remaining determined and
confident
Lea was certain that she’d
receive criticism for being an
Asian actress playing the
role of Eponine. To deal with
this thought, she was driven
and made sure to deliver her
best performance on
opening night and every
night after so that no one
would have any room to say
anything negative (5:20).
Being passionate towards her
career, and optimistic and
grateful for her endeavors
Lea declared her joy for being
able to do what she loved
most (6:30) and admitted
that she can’t resent all that
she’d been through because
it all led to where she is now
(6:35)

At her age, she is confident
that her career shows no
signs of stopping anytime
soon because she isn’t
complacent about where she
is now, but is instead
someone who continues to
seek improvement, new
experiences (6:26), and roles
that she finds interesting

Conclusion
Lea Salonga radiates a dynamic and efficient
energy which brings positivity to those around her.
She appears controlled and capable. Lea values
courage and effort in the face of difficulties and
these qualities show.
Being Miss Saigon was a big deal and it must've
been a lot of pressure but Lea delivered through
and through for her passion and dreams.
She has her own ideas of how to do things, bringing

something new to the table. She is a risk-taker.

Lea Salonga brings confidence into the picture. She
presents herself with great poise and dignity which
makes everyone around her treat her with respect.
All of her accomplishments give her a strong
powerful aura but she's still grounded and pays
attention to other talented individuals around her.
