INSTRUCTION FOR THOSE TAKING THESIS 1/A (Facilitator: Dr. Bryant C. Acar)

1. I cannot come and join you for the orientation in Thesis 1/A. However, I hope this
instruction would suffice.

2. Within the day, please think of three topics you wish to work on for three months
(September-October 2021). Write these title in paper. Make sure your title is complete
in its thought with at least two variables, subject or if possible the output.

Example: Implementation of the Distance Learning program of Deped and academic

performance of Grade 10 students

3. Through FB account, please send your title to bryacar, the subject facilitator for
approval.

4. Choose also your adviser that you feel and trust could help you in completing your
paper. Each adviser could take a maximum of 5 advisees in a semester. Once approved,
you are to constantly communicate with your adviser for your output and timeline.

5. Please photocopy the format and guidelines in making thesis 1 from Alfred.

6. Please mark the calendar and date of proposal hearing based on calendar of activities
for First Sem class (sometimes November 2021).

INSTRUCTION FOR THOSE TAKING IN-SERVICE TRAINING (Facilitator: Dr. Bryant C. Acar)

1. I cannot come and join you for the orientation for the In-Service Training Program
course. However, I hope this instruction would suffice.

2. Since this is an In-service, your work in actual setting like public or private schools are
already credited for the program. So no need to attend the lecture. Hence, what is
required of the course is a mid-term and final output.

3. The output is a Portfolio if In-service training that you will facilitate in your own school
or department with at least 10-20 participants (co-teachers). On-line mode/webinar is
encouraged.

4. One portfolio for mid-term and another for finals. Placed all output in a clear book.
Please ask for a sample portfolio from Alfred (GS Assistant).

5. Submit the output during the schedule for mid-term exam and final exam.
