(NOLI ME TANGERE )

* El Filibusterismo comes from the word


"filibustero" which means a person who is against
the Roman Catholic.

*This book is a political novel written by Dr. Jose


Rizal.

*ELFILIBUSTERISMO it describes the pain of


society today

*It was Published on 1891 in Gent, Belgium

* Second novel of Rizal.

*El Filibusterismo is Book of thought it Contains;-


Bitterness, Hatred, Pain, Violence, Sorrow, Angry
and Vengeful Side

* It is ssociated with revenge and anger

*El Filibusterismo featured a different Ibarra. This


sequel to Noli portrayed the angry, vengeful side
of Ibarra who disguised himself as the wealthy
jeweler named Simoun.

*Dedicated to GOMBURZA

*El Filibusterismo is revolutionist side of Jose


Rizal.

*Rizal wrote the novel to defend Filipino people


from foreign accusations of foolishness and lack of
knowledge

*And to show how the Filipino people live during


Spanish colonial period and the cries and woes of
his countrymen against abusive officials.
