The new online learning environment requires effort and seriousness.

Working in this
remote setting has caused much of our personal lives to blend into our work lives. There are
many changes we have seen nowadays that have allowed us to simplify and streamline old
ways of learning. No one knows when we will go back to the old normal. The advantage of new
normal education is to improve our creativity, unity, and care. We can spend more quality time
with our family and get to know each other better. Students’ achieved flexibility and self-paced
learning, lower costs, improved virtual communication and collaboration, better time
management, refined critical thinking skills and new technical skills. The usual mode of conduct of
learning involves physical interactions. However, with the current case of pandemic, health risks and
restrictions in movements of people are inevitable. With risks at bay, most have resorted to utilizing the
digital world and making everything happen virtually. Students now partake in online mode of learnings
in what we so called as the new normal in the education sector1
The advantage of the new normal education is more centered on improving the students’
achieving flexible and self-paced learning, lower educational costs, improved virtual and collaboration,
better time management, and refined critical thinking skills and new technical skills. In the new normal,
teachers should transform how they teach online, especially since online tools and resources present
numerous affordances that teachers and students can take advantage of. Access to educational
materials through the Internet isn’t worth much if the Internet itself is inaccessible due to lack of service
or network infrastructure. Be it through provisions for budget, equipment, and commercial access to the
Internet, much has to be done to improve digital connectivity throughout the country.
To become safety from Covid 19, the Sorsogon State University adopted a online
leaning environment. This looks much more interactive and inclusive as online formats reduce
student’s expenses. This program easily accommodates busy school-year student because of
its innate flexibility. In contrast, students tasks can be completed at the student’s convenience.
Midnight, midday, or even weekends are all perfectly acceptable hours of operation. The biggest
challenge of studying in this new normal is being left behind. In the classroom the teachers can
monitor the students and adjust his or her pace to accommodate anyone who needs extra time.
In a virtual classroom, it's more difficult, teachers only give limited time to students because they
also have stuff to do aside from teaching. We can continue learning through virtual and it can
help us to find other information on our topic while we’re in the learning app or when our
instructor asking questions or giving details about the topic.
