Checking for Understanding
1. It is a unicellular organism that lacks a nuclear membrane-enclosed nucleus or any other
membrane-bound organelles. Thus, prokaryotic cells have different shapes depending
on its kind.

2. These are cells that contain an organelles and nucleus that are enclosed by a plasma
membrane. Thus, it is larger than a prokaryotic cell.

3. The difference of the two cell is that only in the eukaryotic cell has a nucleus while
prokaryote doesn’t have. In addition, membrane-bound organelles can only be found in
the eukaryote.

4. It affects them in a way that they are able to reproduce and mutate rapidly,
environment adaptation, have a diverse metabolic system because of the efficiency of
their communication and distribution of nutrients.

5. Compared to prokaryotes as what I’ve mention above, knowing that eukaryotes is more
complicated, it requires a hefty amount of energy to adapt in its environment.
