LET US STUDY: Activity 2
I will select the option number 3 which is a lifetime scholarship for me and my siblings. Of
course, money is involved in this scenario. I don’t want my parents to suffer in order to support
our education especially I have 2 younger siblings. But the very main reason why I selected this
option is that I know, education serves as our light in a place where we are surrounded with
nothing but total darkness. It acts as a weapon in order to defeat any obstacle that hinders us
from going and doing whatever we want.

LET US PRACTICE: Activity 3

(1) You will need to wait for the next distribution of module that makes your workload
doubled towards answering modules. In this scenario, it will make you stress over catching up
deadlines and cram like a crazy person because of deadlines that wasn’t met because of the
delayed you’ve made. Thus, receiving a low mark from your teachers that has a great impact in
your academic grades.
(2) Being sleep deprived are just one of the effects if you keep on playing online games.
Just as it greatly affects your studies, you will have no sufficient energy to do your academic
related activities as you’ve given your full attention in playing online games. Thus, there will be a
big possibility for you to fail in your every subject if you keep on doing this as it drains your overall
energy that hinders you to study.

(3) You will not be able to enjoy a part in your life where you focus and prioritize yourself
over everything in this world. As being a married man/woman holds a huge responsibility, we
can't deny the fact that you will not be able to give time for yourself as you will focus in being a
husband/wife and a parent that raises their children.
LET US PRACTICE MORE: Activity 4

The moment a hand stops holding the balloon, it soars high. Just like how we grow up, we
tend to stick in to our own comfort zones without knowing what will happen if we make choices
in which we are not comfortable with. There will be a moment in our life where we need to let go
of the things that kept us from soaring high. Actually no one knows what will happen when we
let go of the balloon. It may encounter a storm but still flying strong, be able to see breathtaking
views from above, or even be stuck in air with something that prevents it from moving forward.
But regardless of this, no one actually knows what will happen on to something unless you start
taking the path you’ve chosen to take. Remember, we only live once. So, let’s live our life to the
fullest at its finest to have no regrets in life.

LET US REMEMBER: Activity 5

(1) Freedom is something that we cannot buy as it is our right to speak, think and act
without hinder or restrictions from other people.

(2) Most people equate choice and freedom. It seems so reasonable. Freedom means you
are free to choose, right? It means you are free from restrictions. If you can’t choose, then you are
not free. And it would seem to follow that the more choice you have, the more freedom you have.
But it doesn’t work out that way.
(3) Freedom is the most precious treasure that human beings have. It is our responsibility
to respect it, enjoy it, and prevent anyone from stealing it from us. However, we must never
confuse the gift of freedom with libertinism. A person who considers himself “free” does not have
any right to stomp on another person in the name of the aforementioned “freedom.” You have
the right to speak your mind but you don’t have the right to silence others when they speak theirs.
Just because you have the right to move freely doesn’t give you the right to trespass in my house
and take my stuff. I can exercise my liberties all I want as long as I don’t infringe on yours. If I’m
not infringing on yours, you need to shut up, relax and respect.

LET US ENHANCE: Activity 7

(1) Even though he is my friend, I will hardly decline. Why? It's because I know myself. I
will spend the rest of the time finishing the movie than attending the class once the 2 nd class will
start.
(2) As a couple, I will brief her about the limitations when we are together. Yes, we can
have a drink but not too much and it doesn’t mean just because no one is in the place other than
us is that we need to do something strange. We can bond as a couple to strengthen our
relationship but not to the point where we will ruin our lives with just a one small mistake.
(3) Actually, I have nothing to say about that. Regardless of her decision, everything that
I can do is to let her know about the pros and cons of her every decision. No matter what it is, I’ll
sincerely respect the decision she had made. This scenario is something that requires emotional
strength in order to decide properly.

LET US RELFECT: Activity 8

Freedom is the most precious treasure that human beings have. It is our responsibility to respect
it, enjoy it, and prevent anyone from stealing it from us. But the freedom we are currently
experiencing right now can be taken from us legally as our freedom also has its own limitations
through rules and regulations. If you’ve committed a crime, then the law or the government has
the right to remove the freedom you have and giving you a sentence that corresponds in the crime
you’ve committed.
