Interprofessional Education (IPE)

• Inter-professional education occurs when students from

two or more professions learn about, from and with each other to
enable effective collaboration and improve health outcomes (WHO 2010)
• Students, faculty and recipients of care must work together in changing
programs
• Develop curricula based on competencies driven by population needs
• Design, admission and criteria for students in different programs
should reflect market and population needs
• Use innovative, experiential and futuristic instructional approaches
• Develop different, more congruent strategies to evaluate students in
inter-professional programs (Meleis 2011)

Kolaborasi Interprofessional

• Kolaborasi interprofesional merupakan suatu proses dimana profesional dari berbagai

disiplin melakukan peran dan tugas secara koheren dan terintegrasi dalam rangka
berespon terhadap kebutuhan pasien, keluarga, dan komunitas (Kebe et al., 2020).
• Kolaborasi interprofesional terjadi jika 2 atau lebih profesi bekerja bersama untuk
mencapai tujuan serta menyelesaikan berbagai macam masalah dan isu yang komplek.
Kolaborasi interprofesional dapat terbentuk dalam riset, pendidikan, dan praktik klinik (Green
& Johnson, 2015).
• WHO mendefinisikan praktik kolaborasi di pelayanan kesehatan terjadi ketika berbagai
pekerja kesehatan dari latar belakang profesi yang berbeda memberikan pelayanan
yang komprehensif terhadap pasien, keluarga, pemberi perawatan (caregiver), dan
komunitas dalam rangka memberikan kualitas perawatan tertinggi di berbagai setting
(Canadian Nurses Association, 2011).

Manfaat

• Kolaborasi interprofesional bermanfaat bagi pasien, profesional kesehatan, organisasi

kesehatan, dan sistem kesehatan.
• Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik kolaborasi interprofesional yang berpusat
pada pasien dapat memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap isu kesehatan terkini
seperti waktu tunggu, tempat kerja yang sehat, perencanaan SDM kesehatan, patient
safety, akses daerah terpencil, pelayanan kesehatan primer, managemen penyakit
kronik dan kesehatan populasi (CNA, 2011)
• Hasil penelitian yg dilakukan oleh Grigg et al (2012) dan Coventry et al (2012)
menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi interprofesional yg baik menurunkan biaya perawatan
kesehatan, meningkatkan kualitas perawatan dan kepuasan kerja, meningkatkan retensi
staf serta outcome pasien (Kebe et al.,2020)

Kolaborasi Interprofesional dalam Praktik Klinis

• Kemampuan untuk bekerja sebagai suatu tim, komunikasi

interprofessional, managemen konflik, kepemimpinan, perawatan yang
berpusat pada pasien, dan etika praktik dikembangkan melalui edukasi
interprofessional dan praktik kolaborasi interprofessional.
• Hasil systematic review yg dilakukan oleh Reeves et al (2017)
menyebutkan aktivitas interprofessional seperti rencana kolaborasi,
aktivitas refleksi, ronde interprofessional, interprofessional meeting,
dan aktivitas interprofessional dapat meningkatkan outcome
kesehatan pasien, outcome efisiensi perawatan pasien, dan outcome
perilaku kolaborasi (Findyartini et al., 2019).

Praktik Kolaborasi Interprofesional di RSUI

• Perawatan pasien yang berpusat pada pasien, tim perawatan terdiri DPJP, Konsulen,
PPJP, apoteker, analis kimia, petugas radiologi, dan tim penunjang lainnya.
• Dalam perawatan pasien yang berpusat pada pasien, sering dilakukan adanya family
meeting (melibatkan keluarga pengambil keputusan, DPJP, PPJP) serta clinical
meeting (melibatkan DPJP, Konsulen, CCM, PPJP, apoteker, dan profesi Kesehatan
lainnya yang terlibat).
• Di RSUI terdapat tim pelayanan TB, tim pelayanan HIV, konselor ASI, Tim perawatan
luka, Tim akses vena sulit, tim homecare, tim reaksi cepat yang terdiri dari berbagai
profesi yang dapat menerima konsultasi untuk proses perawatan pasien.

Proses
• Ketika akan melakukan implementasi EBN (evidence based
nursing) berdasarkan artikel yang sudah dilakukan critical
appraisal, dilakukan clinical meeting yang melibatkan expert dari
pendidikan, riset, dan praktik klinis (melibatkan interprofessional
terkait) untuk menilai apakah suatu intervensi layak untuk
diimplementasikan terhadap pasien untuk kualitas perawatan
terbaik.
• Selanjutnya hasil implementasi EBN dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar
suatu layanan atau juga SPO setelah melalui beberapa proses
lanjutan.
• Adanya SPO visit bersama antara DPJP/konsulen dengan PPJP atau
ners yang sedang berdinas.

• Melalui visit bersama, ners dapat langsung berkolaborasi dengan DPJP

terkait masalah keperawatan yang saat ini dialami pasien untuk
menentukan intervensi/terapi kolaborasi yang diperlukan serta
mengkaji ulang jika masalah keperawatan telah teratasi sehingga
intervensi/terapi kolaborasi dapat dikurangi atau dihentikan.
• Melalui visit bersama, ners juga menjalankan peran etik dan legal
Ketika DPJP perlu melakukan pemeriksaan yang perlu memperhatikan
privasi pasien sehingga pasien menjadi lebih nyaman dan terjaga
privasinya.

mengelola sebuah layanan yang terbaik.
• Ketidakpastian tujuan tim dan kepemimpinan akan menghasilkan kualitas
kerja yang buruk
• Untuk terbentuknya praktik kolaborasi interprofessional, diperlukan proses
pendidikan yang memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan kerja
sama interprofesional, kemampuan komunikasi, mengenali peran dan
tanggung jawab profesi yang dipilihnya dan juga profesi Kesehatan lain, serta
