ACTION PLAN / BACK-UP PLAN FOR WORK IMMERSION COMPLETION IN THE NEW NORMAL

Rationale: Work immersion program provides learners “real workplace” experience that can help them make more informed career choices and improve their employment
prospects. However, its implementation must be flexible enough to fit the complex set up and needs of learners, schools, and partner institutions in the country. In this new
normal setting of education, we are guided by the Memorandum DM- CI-2020-00085- GUIDELINES FOR WORK IMMERSION IMPLEMENTATION DURING CRISIS SITUATION. The
activities in all tracks can be performed in different schemes which include in-school, home-based, community-based, and school-industry partnership. On the other hand, the
Region Memorandum AD No. 21, s. 2021 stated that all the limited face to face activities will be suspended due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the region. In
connection with this, the learners’ work immersion activities may be deemed safer when implemented in their respective residence barangays with the full commitment and
innovativeness of TVL teachers to make these activities available, despite the on -going crisis, all for the welfare of the learners.
