The Whisper of The Ocean

One day, Casper was swimming freely in the ocean. He felt very happy on that day. While swimming,
he bumped into Alex. Alex looked terrible. He was not in a great shape. “Are you okay Alex? Need
some help”? Alex can’t even talk. Casper quickly brought him to the hospital. On the way to the
hospital, Casper was wondering how Alex can be so sick. “Did he eat something bad? Or did he have
a disease”? Casper had no idea. They rushed to the hospital as fast as lightning.

As they arrived at the hospital, Miss Agatha the nurse quickly asked Casper about what happened
and she bring Alex to the emergency ward. The doctor who treated him was Doctor Roshan. He said
that Alex have eaten a plastic bag. He must have thought that it was a jellyfish. This kind of cases are
very common in the hospital. It is all because of the pollution done by irresponsible humans. “Alex’s
internal organs are ruptured. Even if he was saved, he might will have a difficult life in the future”
said Doctor Roshan. Casper felt very sorry for Alex. He didn’t deserve to be the victim of pollution.
“The humans must be stopped. They are all idiots” said Casper in silence.

While in the land, there are two best friends named Lily and Lola. They often go to the beach. For
them, going to the beach can calm down their mind. But eventually, they both hate spending time
together at the beach. The place is filthy. There are a lot of rubbish such as plastic bottles and cans.
Those rubbish will eventually go to the ocean and will harm the marine life. “People should learn
how to appreciate the environment” said Lola. “Yeah, I agree. But what can we do to make people
realize about the effect of littering at the ocean?” asked Lily. Suddenly, there was a voice. A whisper.
It came from the ocean. It was Casper. He was listening to the conversation from the girls. “Are you
sure you want to save the ocean? My friend was now hospitalized because of your human’s
pollution. He is a gorgeous sea turtle and was harmed by a plastic bag.” The girls were shocked. The
fish can talk. “We are very sorry to hear that” said Lily and Lola. “Do you have any idea on how to
prevent the pollution?” they asked. “Hmmm, maybe you guys should start from school. The
youngsters should be learning about the important of ocean. You can suggest to the teachers to
organize an environment day. It is a day where all pupils need to recycle their rubbish. This method
will prevent more rubbish littered into the ocean” suggest Casper. “That’s a great idea. We need this
to save the marine life. Let’s save the ocean!!!”

On the next day, Lily and Lola suggested the idea to Miss Trunchbull, their English teacher. “Well, it is
a lovely idea. Both of you are so brilliant! It is true that the humans are not taking seriously about
ocean pollution. We should save the marine life” said Miss Trunchbull. She was very delighted to
hear that her pupils are taking a lot of care towards the ocean. During her class, Miss Trunchbull
thought the students about recycling. She asked the students to make an essay about the
importance of recycling. Then, she brought them around the school to pick up any litter that can be
recycle. The students are learning new things on that day. Now, they know why recycling are very
important.

The girls, Lily and Lola went back to the ocean. They wanted to tell the fish that they had successfully
attract other kids to save the ocean by recycling. Not long after they arrived, Casper showed up. Lily
and Lola tell Casper about what had happened in school today. Casper felt very happy. “Thank you,
girls. Maybe it is not a big effort, but I am sure that little things can make a big change. We just need
to be more consistent and don’t ever give up. I really hope that all humans can work together to
save the ocean as well as saving the marine lives. I am sure that humans don’t like their home
become dirty and their beloved people become sick. We, the marine lives also don’t like the same
thing happened to us. I hope you can understand pretty well about this” said Casper. “We really
understand what you said. Don’t worry, we will make sure that your house become clean and safe
again. We will do anything to safe the ocean” said Lily. After that they all went home with a big
smile. They both know that they had done a really great job.

The moral of the story, we need to be more serious in taking care of the environment. There are
many more living things in this world besides humans. They also want to have a good life. Lastly, let’s
save the marine lives and their home!
