PRECIPITATIN Possible factors with regards to the
G  client’s illness is most likely due to the
FACTOR presence of gram-negative rod-
(Suelan) shaped bacterial cells (Escherichia
coli) during CBC (complete blood
count).

E.coli may also be the culprit of said

hematuria on patient as these may
infect the urinary tract linings leading
to irritation or inflammation (dysuria)
painful urination, leading to the
presence of blood in the urine.

Urinary Tract Infection of the patient is

said to be recurring and not
hereditary, presence of bacteria

GOOD: 2/5X100= 40% FAIR: 3/5X100= 60% POOR: 0/5X100= 0%

Total: 100%

The highest score rate for the client prognosis is both the “Good” and
“Fair” categories which is 40% and 60% respectively. The “Good” categories
is that within the patient’s complained flank pain along with fever (38.7C),
chills, dysuria, nausea and vomiting, even with the patient’s past health
history of UTI these can still be treated with medications or by the use of
antibiotics as prescribed by the doctor’s orders along with the patient’s no
known history of allergies that can be an obstacle to her medications. The
client is also cooperative with regards to her health and treatment as she has
taken all medications that was being prescribed/ordered by her doctor.

The score for the “Fair” category is 60%, this is because the client may
need further health teaching with regards to the prevention of E.coli bacteria
within her body considering she already had past health history of UTI and is
recurring. E.coli can be obtained via infected stool or sexual intercourse by
her even when pregnant which is why further health teaching/education in this
area needs to be explained further to prevent further complications. Duration
of the Illness is rated fair because it is somewhat dangerous for the baby
since the patient is pregnant but it it also curable and if treated diligently, its
harmful effects can be reduced. Family support for the patient is also within
the “Fair” range cause even though there has been lack of information of the
client with regards to this, it’s still shown in the client’s obstetric history that
she has undergone procedures for the wellness of the health of both her and
her baby, which likely an indication that she has the support of her or her
husband’s family even in her 2nd pregnancy.

Over all there are total of 100%. Therefore, the overall client’s prognosis of his

health condition is under the “Good” and “Fair” categories.
