C-JAD-TS-00033002 Rev-1, GA-C-JAD-TS-00033003 Rev-0 & GA-C-JAD-TS-00033004 Rev-0).

A-Material Test-----1) QAP Clause 1.1-Housing /Body-Raw material Test certificate (0161/19-20/1 Dt-
20.08.2019, 0194/19-20/1 Dt-28.09.2019, 0206/19-20/1 Dt-13.10.2019 & 0250/19-20/1 Dt-30.11.2019)
as submitted by vendor was reviewed as per ASTM A216 Grade WCB & found in order. 2) QAP Clause
1.2-Stuffing plate-Raw material Test certificate (0250/19-20/1 Dt-30.11.2019) as submitted by vendor
was reviewed as per ASTM A216 Grade WCB & found in order. 3) QAP Clause 1.3-Knife gate-Raw
material Test certificate (JSL-JRD/QA/20-21/DOM/00900496 DT-31.01.2021) as submitted by vendor was
reviewed as per ASTM A240 Type 304 & found in order. 4) QAP Clause 1.4-Pneumatic Cylinder –Test
certificate (QA/15268181 DT-07.03.2019) as submitted by vendor was noted. 5) QAP Clause 1.5-Bought
out items –Test certificate (8125682417- 000010 DT-25.10.2019) as submitted by vendor was noted.

B-INPROCESS-INSPECTION----------6) QAP Clause 2.1-Machining of major components -Dimension-

Internal inspection record as submitted was reviewed & found in order. 7) QAP Clause 2.2-PT of
Machined area on Housing-Randomly 10% (Valve serial No-19112509) witnessed and no relevant
indication observed on machine area.

C-Shop Tests------8) QAP Clause 3.1-Assembled valve-dimensions (With Cylinder & limit switches)-
Randomly 10% Valves (valve serial No-19101927 & 19112509) were witnessed for dimensions as per
BHEL approved drawing and found within tolerance limits. 9) QAP Clause 3.2-Hydrostatic Body test-
Randomly 10% Valves (valve serial No-19101927 & 19112509) were witnessed for body test at gauge
pressure of 6 Kg per CM2 against requirement of 5.25 Kg per Cm2 for duration of 180 seconds with
water as test media and NO leakage through body and no pressure drop observed during holding period,
hence accepted. 10) QAP Clause 3.3-Hydrostatic seat test-Randomly 10% Valves (valve serial No-
19101927 & 19112509) were witnessed for seat test at gauge pressure of 3 Kg per CM2 against
requirement of 2.8 Kg per Cm2 for duration of 120 seconds with water as test media and observed
leakage rate through seat found within permissible limit of 100 CC/INCH/MIN, hence accepted. 11) QAP
Clause 3.4-Movement test-Randomly 10% Valves (valve serial No-19101927 & 19112509) were
witnessed for movement test from full open position to full closed position with operation by pneumatic
cylinder, interference free movement of knife gate between guide observed during operation test,
hence accepted. Offered stages cleared and allowed to next stage (QAP clause 3.5 & 3.6).
