Oracle EBS Functional Consultant Responsibility

1. Participate in requirements workshops and work with business users to identify business
requirements, in order to develop an in-depth understanding of our business needs, create
solutions to meet those needs and work closely with the team to implement those
solutions.
2. Contribute to the development of project plans.
3. Develop test strategies, detailed test plans and guide the testing process.
4. Develop and maintain related business process and application documentation.
5. Function as a subject matter, process and technology expert to conduct end-user training.
6. Gather functional and business requirements from client and translate into a functional
hosted solution design according to client needs and scope.
7. Provide business acumen for external clients and strive to understand the business problem
we are solving in order to best configure the system and exceed client expectations.
8. Work together with Project Manager to prioritize workload and agree client SLA (Service
Level Agreement).
9. Conduct Design Delivery (onsite or remote).
10. Configure at a Global level as well as specific features and functionality at a Local level.
11. Creation of Global Client Template and promotion of Client template positioning and
adherence.
12. Conduct client solution demo and functional knowledge transfer sessions according to
methodology standards.
13. Liaison with client team members and Concur internal resources to ensure understanding
and clear communications.
14. Ensure completion of deliverables, managing schedules, meeting milestones, and ensuring
creative /technical success.
15. Perform issue identification, communication, and resolution for moderately complex issues.
16. Communicate consistently and regularly client issue status and progress with the Project
Manager.
17. Ability to conduct functional reviews of configurations completed by other Functional
Consultants.
18. Creation and delivery of Functional Documentation. Review iterative versions with Client to
ensure appropriate sign-off procedures.
19. Training (internal and external). Provide various levels of training to Client team (back office,
system admin, configuration training).
20. Provide leadership to functional and technical teams and fully participate in all phases of
application implementation including requirements planning, functional and technical
design, system design and development, testing and deployment support.
21. Provide proposal and contract scoping input to Practice leadership.
