1. Most of my basic education teachers have appropriately dealt with the learning styles of their
students. Though somehow they have carried the traditional “chalk and talk” method, they have
strived to reach and connect to students through reading their skills and observing what they
are into. For instance, once, there was a teacher who often make his student engage in oral
recitations, but a the end of the lesson, he would always include writing assessments for those
students who are into writing. He sometimes uses graphics and other media-related discussions
for the visual learners. They also encourage those students—though they do not excel on
academics but they rise in sports—to join extracurricular activities like athletics, and those are
the kinesthetic. Despite of the limited resources way back, my teachers could see through their
students on what they are capable of and what their preferences are.

2. I would do the same as they have observed the interests and preferences of their students. I
would strive to see through themselves and identify which intelligences they excel and belong.
Reflecting their understandings according to their intelligences is a way to a better
development. Aside from observing and analyzing students , applying different teaching
approaches is also a way to identify their learning styles ot increases their accessibility of
different learning experiences. As much as possible, I have to move forward from the t
traditional teaching methods to approach student effectively.
