A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2020 ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMNET PROGRAM (ABYIP) OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAA OF
BARANGAY NEW RIZAL
WHEREAS, Article 2 Section 12 of the 1987 Philippines Constitution states that “the State recognize the vital role of
the youth in nation-building and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social; well-being. It shall
inculcate in the youth, patriotism and nationalism and encourage their involvement in public and civic affairs”;
WHEREAS, Implementation Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 10742 also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of
2015 provides in chapter II Section 8 paragragh (a) states that “in consultation and with concurrence of the Katipunan
ng Kabataan, and within three (3) months from the assumption of office, formulate a three (3) year rolling plan, with
shall be known as the Comprehensive Barangay Development Plan, with shall serve as basic in preparation of the Annual
Barangay youth Investment Program”;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan, with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataaan of Barangay New Rizal drafted and
approved a Comprehensive Barangay Development Plan for January 01, 2021 to December 31, 2023;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay New Rizal has prepared the 2021 Annual Barangay youth Investment Program
in accordance with the approved Comprehensive Barangay Development Plan;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESSOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNAING KABATAAN OF BARANGAY NEW RIZAL to approved the
2021 Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program.
Adopted this 18th day of September 2020 at Barangay Session Hall, Barangay New Rizal, Catarman Northern Samar.
