Youthful greetings of Peace and Prosperity!

Cebuano Youth Ambassadors Inc (CYA Inc) is a SEC Registered Youth Led Non-Government
Organization and a National Youth Commission -Youth Organization Registration Program
(NYC-YORP)-accredited community youth-led organization based in Cebu with Registration No.
YO-19-02211. Initially established in 2010 as a youth barkada group, it is committed towards
making Cebu a community of young leaders by providing them avenues to experiential learning
and life skills through our focus advocacies related to Education, Environment, Health,
Employment, Gender and Youth Participation in grassroots and local Governance.

CYA Inc., in collaboration with Local Youth Development Office and SK Federation of
Daanbantayan is organizing a program called ​Activ8Daanbantayan: Rolling for a more
YOUTHNITED, EMPOWERED, and IMPACT-DRIVEN YOUTH GOVERNANCE. ​It promotes
and forwards collective actions or ​Bayanihan among youth in the Municipality of Daanbantayan
to address young people's pressing issues. This will be implemented under the Youth
Development and Engagement Programs of Cebuano Youth Ambassadors called Activ8 powered
by Cebuano Youth Ambassadors Inc. Training and Leadership Team - CYAcademy.
Activ8Daanbantayan ​is a 3-day training, ​and it ​was designed with 8 modules and training,
and it includes:

✔ The SK Reform Law and the Ordinance Creating Local Youth Development Council

✔ Servant and Bridging Leadership Training and Workshop and how these concepts of
leadership can be applied in SK and Local Youth Development Council Governance.
✔ Program Management and Impact Assessment and how it can be applied in the creation,
development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs as stipulated in
ABYIP, CBYDP and CYDP.

✔ Resource Mobilization and Networking Training and Workshop - this will help youth leaders
in mobilizing resources, foster partnership and collaboration, build relationships.

✔ Financial Management Training and Workshop

✔ Maximizing the power of Social Media.

✔ Conflict Management

✔ Barkada Building - Promoting togetherness and happiness while creating a positive change
in the community

Youth in Cebu unto an active participation which paves a way for good governance and a sound
