EXPERIENCE
DATES FROM FALL 2019 SEMESTER TO SPRING 2021 SEMESTER
TUTOR, ACADEMIC SUCCESS CENTER (IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY)
I work as a paid tutor at Iowa State for Math 165, Math 166, and Math 266 (Calculus I, Calculus II,
and Differential Equations) during school semesters. I hosted two sessions per week, per group.
After each semester, students were asked to take a survey to evaluate my results, and on
average (across each semester) students saw an improvement of one letter grade (in comparison
to the grade they had before joining my tutoring). In the Fall 2020 semester, these sessions were
all held by me in online rooms, and students featured no negative impact from the change.

PROJECTS
- LINUX COMMAND SHELL (2021)
- I created my own version of a basic Linux command shell, runnable as an executable inside
an existing shell. The program constantly received input from the terminal and could run through
basic commands (such as ls, pwd, cd, etc.). Used C++ for coding.
- TOWER DEFENSE GAME (2020)
- Worked together with a team of 3 to create a basic tower defense game. Our team used
Android Studio with Java to create the app. I worked on the frontend side (User interface, ensure
the pieces to the game were moving as expected from the backend, etc.).
- INFINITY MIRROR (2018)
- I created an infinity mirror in a team of 3. I handled the coding of the LEDs using Arduino.
