WEEEK 1 JOURNAL ENTRY:

Remember your Philosophical question. What is the bigger context of which it is a part?
What aspect of human experience are inevitably connected to your inquiry?
DO PEOPLE EXIST SIMPLY TO LIVE, OR DO THEY LIVE TO EXIST?

live and exist mean to remain alive, we often use them in different contexts. Existing refers to remain alive or
continue to be, it can be described as doing what is necessary to stay alive. When compared to existing, living
means to enjoy your life and savor every movement of it. Living is taking life as it comes, embracing it and
doing as much as you can to feel fulfilled. Living is choosing happiness, it's choosing to live. Existing is a long
survival. Existing is you being here physically, but doing what you have to do to get through the day. To truly
live life, means that you really experience it, enjoy it to the fullest, never taking it for granted. Live your life like
there’s no tomorrow, dying and death are important parts of everyone's lives. They happen to us all, and many
of us will be affected by the death of people close to us and to truly live life every struggles you face means
that God is challenging you because he knew in the very first place that you as his child will overcome it and
experience the meaning of life and death.

In the empty box before each item, put an X mark on the experience that you think

you need to buy.
2. Your mother asked you to go the market and you asked how much is the
budget to take with you?
X 3. Your mother asked you to go the market and you asked why it is wise to
buy in the wet market than in supermarket.
X 4. Your mother asked you to go the market and you asked her why your

X 5. Your mother asked you to go the market and you asked yourself, “why do
people have to buy things when God created nature where these goods
come from?”
