Below is an example of what your Research Proposal should look like.

The bibliography below is in the Chicago Style format for bibliographies.

Note the following elements in the example:

–the list of sources is in alphabetical order by the author’s last name

–the author’s name is listed with the last name first

–article and chapter titles are placed in quotation marks

–books and periodical titles are placed in italics OR underlined (a periodical is a journal,

magazine, or newspaper)

–the 1st source in the example below is the correct form for an article in an academic

journal

(see that the title of the article is provided, along with the journal’s title, volume

number, issue number, & year, as well as the page numbers of the complete
