On 20th day of March 2021, Mr. JUAN DELA CRUZ lectures about the “Threats to
National Security.” His discussion was about the different types of threats and the role of the
security in our country when a threat comes up. The discussion highlight about the terrorist
groups as they have different modus in infiltrating our country and its citizens. The reason why
our government authorities is doing their best to protect the people and provide essential needs
when a natural disaster occur.

A force field represent as the government authorities that is protecting the citizens inside.
This force field is something that ensures safety, provides a kind of secured environment and
most essentially keeps away from any kind of harm or loss. A nation’s security lies in various
fields which can be economy, health, administration, border control, military, and so many other
aspects in which the growth and development of a nation is hidden in terms of potential and
productivity. However, a threat can be understood as a check or obstacle or any preventive force
that obstructs anything to progress or downgrades its performance.

For a country or a nation if something is to be given the utmost importance it is

undoubtedly security. It becomes the primary task of the nation as a whole to ensure its security,
then only it can strive for other things which are important. No matter what the security issue, the
one thing we need in all situations is a functioning military to defend and protect our nation.
