Oath Taking Ceremony of the Newly-Elected Student

Why choose to be a student leader a midst this new normal education?

To officially introduce the new leaders of

Student and Socio-Cultural Organization (SASCO). The

Cavite State University - CCAT Campus administered

the Oath-Taking Ceremony last September 28, 2021,

elected officers of each organization are virtually bestowed

by the moderators; Mr. Bryle Camat, Secretary of the Association of Hospitality Management Students,

and Ms. Krishna Perna the President of the Junior Marketing Association.

The SASCO is composed of Ten Departmental Organizations comprising Central Student

Government, English Society, Future Educator Organization, Junior Marketing Association, Future

Information Communication Technologist. (kulang pa dito nung org) We also have 4 Non-Departmental

Organizations namely the CCAT E-Sports Club, CCAT Chorale, CCAT Rotaract Club and (check nyo to

di ko sure kung tama yung club names).

The campus administrator Dr. Jose P. Lisama maintained the formalness of the ceremony. All

student leaders are requested and instructed to open their cameras during the declaiming of the oath.

Before the ceremony formally started, the moderators commenced it by reconnecting and consulting the

various presidents of each organization, on how the last months had been for them. As the oath taking

started it was led by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and followed by the Invocation

prepared by CCAT chorale.(tama ba to? CCAT chorale kumanta?). Mr. Raymond S. Nocos; the newly-
elected president of the Central Student Government, led the welcoming remarks as Mr. Noelle T.

Legaspi the OSAS Director, couldn't deliver his message.

According to Mr. Raymond S. Nocos, the newly elected CSG President. "The experiences and

hardships while serving in the university as a student leader will be your best teacher for your future

endeavors."

"As leaders of your organization, you have to accomplish many tasks. Dapat mabilis, like the

wind, hindi man makita pero dapat mararamdaman."

"You are not the masters, you are here to serve the student community"

"As leaders of the organizations, you have to acc many things. Once you are doing the task you

must do it as fast as the wind- work fast as a wind"

 "Be fluid like water, dapat ang goal ng organization ay parang tubig. Isa lang nag pupuntahan."

"Kung kayo man ay magtagumpay, you must be humble. Humble as a ground."

Krish " I want to serve you with less talk but more action. "

Alexandra - We have to put the best foot to move forward.

"As a student leader, you must be a model and an inspiration of your organization." Dr. Jose P.

Lisama magnified the obligations of the student-leaders. Leaders must do their actions while carrying the

name of the university, Dr. Lisama mentioned. He also emphasized that there is no 'I' in a team, only 'We'.

He ended the speech by reminding the student-leaders to be a role models and an inspiration for the

organizations' progress.

The success of each and every program provided by each organization is dependent not only on

the leader, but also on the members, who play a key role in a well-executed program. Students'

participation in each and every event is expected by the newly elected officers. A strategy would only be

successful if all members contributed in some way. (eto point is dat lahat magparticipate, dagdagan nyo
