JIGSAW

One of the activities about New York is a jigsaw and it’s the taxi of the New York. Children are
going to colour the drawing and then, we are going to cut the 9 pieces with scissors. Finally, we
are going to put glue on each piece and then, we are going to stick it on the paper. Besides,
teacher is going to explain curiosities and secrets about the taxis of the New York.

1. First, we are going to colour the taxi with the yellow colour

2. Then, we cut the pieces with scissors.

3. We put glue in each piece

4. Finally, we stick the pieces on the paper

This activity is based in do a pencil box. Each child is going to have a taxi drawing and a piece to
build it. First, teacher is going to explain the curiosities and
history about the taxis of the New York because is important that
children know it.

stick it in the box.

POINT OF BOOK!
We are going to do a point of book. It’s Empire State what is a skyscraper very popular. It’s
important that teacher explain something and curiosities about this. Then, teacher is going to
distribute the points of book and children are going to colour this drawing or they are going to

Teacher is going to decide the material to paint or colour the point of book: paintings, colours,
“gomets”, crayons...

This activity is based in do a craft with posters or signs of some streets of the New York.
children are going to carry it to home and put it on their walls.

2. We make the holes in each poster:
1 (on the left, on top)
2 ( on the left, on bottom) VERY IMPORTANT:
3 (on the right, on top) Remember the last rope
hasn’t ropes in the bottom.
4 (on the right, on bottom).

3. We cut 8 ropes of the same size.

4. We pass the rope in the hole and tie it, tie the rope to a poster on the left, on bottom and
tie to another poster (on the left, on top).

5. We have two options: we can stick them with zeal or tie them with ropes! (or with another
material).
