A. Health Related Fitness
1. Weight and Height Measurements Classification:
a. Measure your weight in kilograms.
Below 18.5 Underweight
b. Measure your height in meters.
18.5-24.9 Normal
c. Then, get your BMI using this formula:
25.0- 29.9 Overweight
30.0- Above Obese
Body Mass (in kilograms)

2. Three Minute Step Test


Materials: Platform and Timer
Directions:
a. When the timer starts, step your right foot up and left foot on a platform,
then step down the right foot and then step down the left foot while maintaining a
consistent cadence.
b. After the exercise, locate your pulse and count it for 10 seconds, then
multiply it by 6. Record the 60-second heart rate after the activity.

3. Push-Ups
Directions:
You should be able to count the number of times you formed a 90-degree
angle at the elbow as you lower your body to the ground.

4. Sit and Reach


Materials:
a. Use your fingertips to touch the farthest that they can reach. (Make sure
your knees are not flexed during the )
b. Record the nearest 0.1 cm.

5. Curl Ups
Directions:
You should be able to count the number at times your shoulder blade touches
the floor.

B. Skill-Related Fitness
1. Hexagon Agility test
Materials: Masking tape and flat surface
Directions:
a. Stand in the middle of a hexagon line. On the “go” signal jump with your
both legs on one line then back to the middle and then to the next time until your
complete three revolutions in both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation.
b. Record the time it took you to finish the test.
Note: The length of each side should be 24 inches (60.5 cm) and each angle work out
to be 120 degrees.
2. Stork Stand Test
Materials: timer
Directions:
a. Stand with your one leg on the floor and the other leg flexed toward your
knees.
b. On the “GO” signal, start the timer, and tip your toes that is on the floor.
c. Stop the timer when you lose balance.

3. Paper Juggling
Materials: crumpled paper
Directions:
a. On the “GO” signal, juggle the crumpled paper from one palm to another.
Execute it alternately.
b. Record the number of times you touch the paper without dropping it.

4. Standing Long Jump


Materials: Tape Measure
Directions:
a. Stand on the zero point of the tape measure.
b. Once ready, flex your knees and swing your arms backward, then jump as
far as you can.
c. Land on both feet.
d. Measure the distance covered where the backs of your knees land.

5. Stick Drop Test


Materials: Armchair/Table and Chair and Meter stick or Ruler
Directions:
a. Sit on armchair with your arm and elbow rested, leaving the fingers
extended beyond the edge of the armrest.
b. The tester will drop the meter stick and you should catch it until with your
thumb and index finger as fast as you can without moving your arms. Perform the
three times.
c. Record the average score.

6. Speed
Materials: Marker cones or masking tape, timer and flat surface
Directions:
a. Set up two lines of cones 30 feet apart or use line markings and place two
blocks of wood or a similar object behind one of the lines.
b. You will ran as fast as possible to the other line, pick up a block, return to
place it behind the starting line, the return to pick up the second block and then run
with it back across the line. Then the quickest time is recorded.
