a) What is meant by the following terms? (5 Marks)

b) State what you understand by the term angular mortion. (2 Marks)
c) A wooden box resting on a bench has a mass of 100kg and covers an area of 100,000 cm2.
Calculate the pressure it exerts on the bench. (5 Marks)
d) What are the factors one should keep constant when comparing thermal conductivity of copper
and aluminum? (2 Marks)
e) Find the velocity of a bullet of mass 5g which is fired from a pistal of mass 1.5kg. The recoil
velocity of the pistal is 1.5 m/s. (5 Marks)
f) Find the acceleration of a body that has been pushed by a net force of 3N and has a mass of 6kg.
(4 Marks)
g) State any four basic properties of matter (4 Marks)
h) If the focal length of a given lens is 18cm, find the power of the lens. (2 Marks)
