questions that involve our reality. “What
kind of being am I?” is an example of this.
Meaning, in this theme under Philosophy
we seek answers that will make us
understand and believe that whatever we
think we are, is our reality.
Wanting to know what the reality is, is an
implication of being a lover of wisdom.
EPISTEMOLOGY
This theme of Philosophy is directed to
questions that involve our knowledge. “Is
the world really what I think it is?” is an
example of this. Meaning, in this theme
under Philosophy we want to know
whether what we see, feel, taste, hear, or
touch is really what it is. It also involves
questions such as “if it is real then, how
would I know it?"
These questions, when answered, then
lead us into having knowledge that we
can use to be a lover of wisdom.

VALUE THEORY
This theme of Philosophy is directed to questions that involve our
judgement. “How should I treat others?” and “what is beauty” are
examples of this theme. This theme talks about how we should live
with others and why are we obligated to do the things that we don’t
know but is somehow, related to us. This theme is also about wanting
to know what beauty is and whether it exists or not.

Wanting to know the value of ethics and wanting to find out the
existence of beauty is an implication of being a lover of wisdom
