a. The National Service Training Program (NSTP) aims to improve civic awareness and
defense preparedness by cultivating a service and patriotism ethic while completing
training.
b. Our 3 training program component:
LTS - It is intended to prepare students to teach literacy and numeracy skills to
schoolchildren, out-of-school adolescents, and other members of the public.
ROTC - its purpose is to give military training in order to motivate, train, organize, and
mobilize troops for national defense.
CWTS – Component or actions that contribute to the community's overall well-being and
improved quality of life.
c. CWTS and LTS students are required to conduct civic welfare and literacy activities or
projects as part of the required 36 hours of community engagement
d. NSTP Netiquette – be prepared to open our cam (neat and clean), get our gadgets and
study spaces ready (distraction and noise free) lastly make ourselves college ready!
e. Learn how TLC works – be updated on our professor and subjects’ announcements
